IN THIS LESSON
the supplemental toolkit
Creating a supplemental toolkit will allow you to have all the items you need for the application process at your fingertips.
Along with the 10-Step Supplemental Application Manual, worksheet, and checklist provided here, a few more items are great to have on hand.
The first is legal paper to print your supplemental application. The paper required is legal-size (8.5 x 14”), acid-free paper, not recycled. In January 2024, the DAR changed its paper requirements to state that the paper no longer needs to be 25% rag, although it can be if that’s what you have available. The DAR store sells appropriate paper that is 25% rag, and it can be a convenient way to purchase your paper. The link to buy paper at the DAR store is included below.
The other two items are a ruler and a red pen if you wish to underline your proof documents by hand. Alternatively, you can outline them digitally.
A last item that’s helpful to have is a legal-size mailing envelope.
Having all these items on hand when needed can make the process go more smoothly.
Links to the items mentioned in this lesson have been provided for your convenience. Click on the respective button for each item to access it. You are welcome to save and print the manual, worksheet, or guidelines as needed.
